For all freelancers, entrepreneurs, and creatives, there is an element of sales in our job. Whether it is directly selling a product or service, pitching an idea to customers, or knowing how to follow up properly, there is something we can use from learning more about sales.
Paul Baron, a Loveland native, has been in some form of a sales role for nearly his whole life. Currently he is a co-founder of Thrive Local Advertising advertising company, a digital advertising agency that promotes the awareness and patronage of locally-owned and operated businesses. Prior to Thrive Local Advertising he was the director of Channel Sales at Madwire Media, where he came on board as employee #12 and helped land key partnerships which were responsible at the time for 70% of yearly revenue. As a hometown boy Paul loves helping local business owners succeed in any way he through networking, sales training, advertising help, etc A few topics he will touch on during the seminar time:

The cost for this meetup is $5 (free for members of The Armory). Half of the workshop fee will be given to the LCBD to support local small business growth and the other half will be given to a local charity.
