This is a positive, open-minded, supportive and super Fun Social Group for ALL types of women!
Ladies of all ages are welcome!
Please join us if you would like to get out and do fun things in South Snohomish County and surrounding areas!
~Please note, we must be able to see a real Photo of you (your profile pic) to add you to the group. We'd really prefer a Headshot as it helps us find each other at meetups when we're looking at the RSVP list on our phone.
Here is more info. about our group & guidelines so you can see if the group will work for you.
Please don't let the long description dissuade you from joining the group, we just want to make sure you know what our group is like and what to expect.
If you are not tolerant of different faiths, sexuality, races, ideas & people who may think differently than you, please do not bother applying for this group.
Also, please, NO DRAMA...because here we all get along. You don't have to be friends with every member of the group, but we should all play nice. There will be a lot of different personalities in this group. If someone rubs you the wrong way, just realize that we all have unique backgrounds, give everyone the benefit of the (positive) doubt, and focus on another new friend instead.
If you are nodding your head "yes, thank you!" then please DO join our group. :)
Group Membership Dues are $5 per year. These Dues pay for Meetup.com's Fees.
New members have a 30 day trial period in the Group before Dues are required. You're going to love the Group, though, so it will be well worth it! :)
~ Please come to a meetup within a month of joining and at least 1 meet-up every 2 months thereafter so we can build friendships. Don't worry, we have tons of diverse activities, a lot of them free or low cost, so I'm sure this will not be a problem if you're interested in actually doing something. If you have not come to a meetup within that time frame, we will contact you to see if you are still interested in the group. If special circumstances have prevented you from being active, just let the organizer know.
If you don't see a meetup that works for you, post one of your own! All members can post meetups on our group and we encourage participation and sharing of ideas. Pick a day, place & time that works for you and post on our homepage where it says, "+Suggest a Meetup..." We ask each member to host one meetup per year. It doesn't have to be in your home, but can be dinner, coffee, drinks, theatre, comedy, crafting...whatever you are interested in!
~ Please be courteous to meetup hosts by keeping your RSVPs accurate. At many events we reserve tables, make accommodations for a certain number of guests or have a limit to how many guests can come so please be polite and help us plan accurately.
If you RSVP Yes to a meetup, show up. We hate no-show's! No fun for anyone. Habitual no-show'ers will be removed from the group.
If you can't make it to a meetup, change your RSVP with as much notice as possible.
~ Comments on your RSVP's and feedback/ratings on meetups are much appreciated.
~ You do not need to RSVP "No" unless you are changing from a "Yes" (in which case that is the only other option).
Please keep your face familiar and have a good time!
Please note that this is a NON-SELLING group. We realize a lot of people are business owners and we give you the opportunity to tell everyone about it on our discussion board. We don't want any members to feel uncomfortable if you are promoting your business when they are a "captive audience" that came to the meetup to have fun.If you are interested in hosting a meetup or party for your business, please contact Sandra about Sponsorship opportunities and advertising. Please do not post your product party until you get the ok from the organizer.
NOTE to Straight Men! Please do not ask to join. This is in no way a "seeking" group.
LGBTQ = yes! but we are not a hookup group.
Even though this is a "ladies" group, we may have gay men at some activities, and they are welcome to join the group by invitation.
Feel free to email us with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
