RESERVOIR DOGS (THEATRE)

Drama Written By: Quentin Tarantino
Directed By: Matt Byrne

Reservoir Dogs is based on the iconic 1992 American crime film that depicts the events before and after a botched diamond heist, but not the heist itself. It incorporates many themes that have become Tarantino's hallmarks: violent crime, pop culture references, profuse profanity, and a nonlinear storyline. There have been many stage versions of the show around the world, this is Matt Byrne's adaptation of a killer plot ... watch the colourful crew implode as a rat emerges in their ranks ...

The Studio, Holden Street Theatres

Convincing and memorable performances with warped humor to boot. Think I laughed in the wrong places, but so did others! Really enjoyed it thanks to a friendly group.

Thanks everyone for a good evening and great company. Very brave of those who had never seen the film to come and be confronted.

Great actors! Gun shots made me jump every time. Music brought back memories.

Its looks like Wendy the birthday girl won't be celebrating? So shall we make it the Lady Daly Judy?

    • Sharon

Judy, I'm happy to get your ticket when I buy mine and you can me on the night. I'm getting Julie's as well, Gavan has already bought his. They are not allocated seats but if we all meet at pub then that will be OK. I heard from Wendy, she is on a budget and is going out the night before so we will have to have a toast or two for her. Hope you had a great trip to melbourne. Cheers Sharon

Wendy, is Suzy Wong's a café or something? I've heard of it (I think). Where is it?

Still can't edit info above so I have made enquiries and if we get 10 people I can make a group booking - prices will be Adults $25.00 and Concession $20.00 (Normally $28 and $23) plus booking fee.
Otherwise you will need to buy tickets and cheapest way is:
Go to www.mattbyrnemedia.com.au and click on the "Book Now" Gun Rectangle.
Then on the next page you click Sign In, create a username and password.
Then you choose Friday 25th and pay with credit card
There is $2.10 booking fee on top of the ticket cost but a lot cheaper than if you booked through VenueTix.
Note: There is no allocated seating, first come best seats. We should aim for 7.30 at theatre so those not going to the pub can meet and sit together. I'm really looking forward to it, it will be a bit different and not everyone's cup of tea. Pop culture , profanity....... Look forward to meeting you Gavan John

    Cheers Sharon

Look forward to meeting you Sharon and thanks for the undercover work to get this organized, not being a theater buff it will be great share your experience. Agree that it won't be everyone' s favorite beverage as it looks beyond the familiar comfort zone, thanks Gavan.

Just saying that Suzie Wong's Room is a great place to go for a dinner, and then go back to listen to some music afterwards. Nina may have to close soon if she doesn't get some business. Cheers.
PS it is my birthday on Thursday and would love to celebrate here.
