An active evening of meditation and self-exploration. No meditation experience is required, you will be guided through this active meditation that includes music and movement.
This is a great meditation for people who have a hard time sitting still or who feel discouraged by more traditional quiet meditation practices and who want to try something more active that will actually bring you into a natural state of calm.
This practice is different from the more traditional "mindful meditation" practices. Instead of sitting quietly for an hour and trying to achieve a state of "desireless-ness" or emptiness, the focus is more on feeling your own spiritual desire and allowing that desire to move you through your meditation. Sometimes that can also mean feeling what is going on inside, and moving through emotional blocks that keep us from feeling a state of peace and calm inside. Or sometimes it is just about feeling one's own strong spiritual desire that will take them deep within to a more calm place. It is all very individual.
