Giant Size Board Games Night @ the Union Depot

We're collaborating with the Union Depot on this great Meetup event. Come on down! Press Release: SAINT PAUL, MINN. (March 8, 2013) – On Wednesday, March 13, St. Paul’s newly restored Union Depot will begin hosting a series of Board Games Nights in which guests of all ages will be invited to play giant-size versions of many of their favorite games including Chess, Checkers, Kinect Four, Dominoes, Jenga, Tic Tac Toe and others. The events are free and open to the public and guests are also invited to bring their own games. Board Games Nights will take place in the public space adjacent to Christos Union Depot and in the historic waiting room just beyond that area and will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on four consecutive Wednesday evenings: March 13, 20, 27 and April 3. The Board Games Nights series is the first of many community-building events Union Depot is planning for families and people of all ages, designed to highlight the historic Union Depot as “The Living Room of St. Paul.” Guests dining at Christos Union Depot during Board Games Nights will receive a complimentary glass of wine with their dinner. For more information about Board Games Nights or the historic Union Depot, please call[masked] or visit www.uniondepot.org. ABOUT UNION DEPOT...Owned by Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority (RCRRA), Union Depot, originally built in the 1920s, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. RCRRA secured federal, state and county funding to finance the $243 million restoration, and major renovation began in 2011 with Mortenson as the design-build contractor with URS Corporation and HGA Architects & Engineers. In 2012, RCRRA hired the international retail and management corporation, Jones Lang LaSalle, to manage the Union Depot and create "The Living Room of St. Paul" experience at the historic landmark. True to its roots, by 2014, Union Depot will offer transportation services via Amtrak, Central Corridor light rail, Jefferson Regional Bus Lines, Metro Transit buses and One-on-One Bicycle Studio. Hi everyone, the Union Depot marketing team is running this meetup for us, Tina is the contact. Kelly's sounds like a good fall back if people get gamed out!

It seemed more like a kids event, so I'm across the street at Kelly's. It would have been a fun event if I'd had kids. Oh well
