Introduction

I moved her from the west coast for work. I work in a field that is mostly male and older than I am. I would like to meet some new people, but am not brave enough to venture into an unknown bar and look for random strangers to make friends.

Great to hear from you. I completely understand how challenging it is to meet new people here in MN! I moved up here in 2007 and didn't know anyone, however now I have so many friends. It just takes a little patience and the courage to jump into 1-2 volunteer groups to make instant, quality friends! I see that you RSVP'd for the March - Walker Center meetup. If you'd like to meet up for a coffee before then, I'd be more than happy to chat with you and share my 'new town experiences'!
