Saturday night's event is coming right up. We would ask that you be sure your RSVP is current. If you can't make it there are a number of people that would like to take your place. For everyone else, please feel free to join after 7:30 for drinks and music.
See you soon,
And we are moving on to some Mexican/American food! You will not find these tastes in any traditional Mexican restaurant. This food evolved, like so many other ethnic foods, to fit the American palate.
We are going to begin with guacamole and chips and sip some good tequila. Next we will move onto the main course of wet burritos using a time perfected recipe of mine and sip some more tequila. We’ll finish the evening listening to our resident DJ – Viola!
Doors open at 17h with the main course at 18h or so keeping in mind we need to be out by 21h. The size of the kitchen might make it so that we eat at different times. We’ll decide that once we are there.
The venue we are at is, Treibhaus. They are nice enough to let us use their kitchen at a discounted rate assuming we’ll order drinks from their bar.
Drinks are thus not included in our event dinner but this is the price of having a nice, large venue and we are thankful for that!
We also need to pay for the use of the kitchen and groceries so there will be about a 20CHF cost for the event. We’ll figure the exact costs once we know the number of people there and grocery bill. (Take some small bills and coins with you please.)
Should be fun!
