Paragliding for beginners

Due to the weather we are postponing the event to Sunday. This is your chance to learn about paragliding 1st hand, and get into the air under your own power by joining us on this one day introductory course. The day starts with a theory lesson followed by doing – working with Swiss certified flight instructors from the Zimmermann Züri flight school (www.flugschule-zueri.ch) you start on at ground moving progressively higher until you are flying yourself from the top of the training hill. When: We have a single-day course scheduled for Saturday October 5th with a rain date of Sunday October 6th. We need a minimum of 6 and can take a maximum of 15.What: Sturdy hiking boots and the ability to run a few meters are the only prerequisites. All equipment (helmet, two-way radio, harnesses and paragliders) will be provided as part of the day.Where: An hour or less from Zürich, weather will dictate which site we select (generally close to Einsiedeln). Cost: CHF 120.- per person.Contact Peter at [masked] if you're interested. (Peter Greis is an American instructor)

Hi there! Likely yes we can make room - I need another day or two to confirm, if that is OK.

Answers: Yes, cash on the day; airtime - 60 to 90 seconds per run, record so far is 6 set by a Canadian (limited by how many times you want to walk up the hill).

Ok thanks. So will there be the option of further lessons? Is it still possible over the winter months?

Always wanted to try this. I'm assuming that we pay in cash on the day? How much air time we will actually get being a beginner course?
