Excursion to France: Strasbourg, Alsace

Let's make a day excursion to Strasbourg so we get a bus-driver that would take us there.

X-Mas Shopping, wine tasting, eating Flammekuche etc....

Important: DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT OR ID CARD.

It's a ca. 3h30 drive, we have a coach bus, the price is between CHF 50 and CHF 70, depending on how many we are.

This excursion is kids and family friendly and you can of course visit the city individually (it's not an organised city tour).

Our stay in Strasbourg itself is from 11h - 17h, so 6 hours.

If you click "yes", put it as a fix day in your calendar, as I will have to pay the journey to the company of transport.

It's great to be at least 15 people (minibus) or if we reach 20-35 we will have a coach.

If I had known that Liz McComb was singing in Strasbourg that night at the big church, we would have loved to stay longer... http://alsace.france3.fr/2013/11/23/strasbourg-un-moment-de-grace-avec-la-chanteuse-liz-mccomb-363725.html

Yes Rati, directly behind KKL at 7h30. Please be all on time there... you can still sleep on the bus. Looking forward to see you all.

For the moment the price is Fr. 70.-- per person. We hope some more people can join and so the price will drop. The coach has space for max 35 people. If you are a student or low income person, I can make an arrangement that you pay a bit less.

    November 20, 2013

    • Viola

Spread it to your friends, and they can join too....

Sorry Dijon, Bourgogne was too far for the drivers law as the driver is not allowed to drive more than 9 hours all together forth and back, unless he makes 9 hours break...... but once in spring time we could even organise an over night stay maybe there.
Strasbourg is a great city too.

    November 6, 2013

  • Keith

Sounds great! Looking forward to it!

If we reach 25-35 participants, its probably great to organise a coach/pullman, in deutsch einen richtigen Car mit Chauffeur.
25 participants = Fr. 70.--, 35 participants = Fr. 50.-- per person. So ask your friends to join. :)

    October 29, 2013

  • Viola

If we are 15 people we pay only Fr 75.- return for the trip per person with a small bus. Der Kleinbus kann mit den Führerscheinkategorien D1 oder D2 selbst gefahren werden. Who is a good driver?

    October 22, 2013

    • MIchele

mit der Zug wäre kein Thema?

      October 22, 2013

    • Viola

nein, wenn ein Bus für alle billiger kommt und wir nicht 3 Mal umsteigen müssen, ausserdem können meine Kids am Abend im Bus schlafen auf dem Rückweg.

      October 23, 2013

  • Richard

It takes about 3 hours by train and costs CHF 120...

    October 21, 2013

    • Viola

Yes thats why we could get a small bus for cheaper

      October 22, 2013

Meinst du wirklich nur 3.30 stunde für fahren??
