Road ride around Lake Lucerne. With Ferry ride.

You ever wanted to ride around Lake Lucerne with your road bike? This is your chance... although there are no roads going all the way around the lake - it can be done using a (private) ferry.
I did it last year and it was an amazing ride.
Organized by cycling club

Please note: this is a fun ride and not a race. Length of the ride approx. 110km with 800m climbing. There will be different groups and riders of all ages. However: this is not a beginner ride and you should be used to ride in a group with 30+ people. You should be able to ride 100km with an average speed of 25-30 km/h.
In total there are expected to be 40-60 riders. As to my knowledge there are about 10 open spots left. Cost is 10,- CHF for ferry ride and snacks.

Please note: ride will only happen when the weather is expected to be nice and the wind is not too strong (strong wind = no ferry ride).

Hi Philipp, it's a maybe, by the way I've found out through a colleague that you can cycle all the way around the lake it's 125km with 1.500mt elevation gain.......maybe we should try that....,you have to climb like around 100mt of steps before getting to the road again
