Travelling BRUNCH in German!!!

Come join us and practice your German.
Today's host (driven by the desire to learn more german) is Caroline :-)

We meet for a brunch at the History Museum (first floor) in the old town of Luzern, in a very special antique atmosphere!

Everyone bring something and we make this brunch happen together. Croissants, Cheese, eggs, cake, juice, coffee, napkins, cutlery, ... everything is needed, every idea is welcome!

German speakers are present (and funny!!!) so come and join us for a talk around good food :)

Looking forward to see you all there!

NB: A small contribution of 8 CHF/ person is asked for the renting of the room in the History Museum.

Ha ha - if I went to the trouble of baking Yorkies and pie, I wouldn't make it out the flat. I'd sit and devour it all alone!

What would you like me to bring? I could possibly bake a cake. Or would it be better to bring something savoury?

Hi everyone! Nice to see there will be food for all tastes :) Looking forward to this! We'll meet at the history museum: Before getting to the main entrance, there is a little courtyard. Before getting to the courtyard (:D jeje), there is an arcade. Under the arcade you'll find a door on your left (unless you're coming back from going too far :D ). The room is called "Atelier" and is on the first floor. See you there :)

Hi everyone! Time to get ready for this "travelling brunch in german" :) The idea of this event is that everyone bring something so WE actually make this brunch happen TOGETHER. Croissants, Cheese, eggs, cake, juice, coffee, napkins, cutlery, ... everything is needed, every idea is welcome! Please share with us what you're planning on bringing so everyone has an overview of what is missing. The location is still to be defined, I am working on that and will let you know ASAP. Looking forward to see you there with huge appetite :D

German speakers are present (and funny!!!) .... ummm ... funny as in strange or should we be celebrating 1'000 years of German humour? .... Sorry, that was to good to pass ... And please consider that I have been learning German since the early 80s. I am presently doing a German-Grammar course, and I volunteer to come here ... so cannot be accused of Germanophobia. By the way, do we have a venue yet?

Hello people !!! Don't hesitate to sign in the waiting list, as by good weather the brunch will take place in a public area and the event will be open to everyone :)

This event seems too interesting to miss!

I know of several fairly quiet places where we could have this: California Restaurant Bar at Alpenstrasse 6, or Heini Conditorei Lowenplatz, which are fairly central.

Hi Enrique! Well the whole idea is that everyone bring something so we actually make this brunch ourselves. Best would be to do it open air but in case of bad weather we'll have to find some "hosting" place. So we'll define the meeting place a few days before the event. It will be in Luzern anyways :)
