Philosophical conversations on loneliness

The NYC Public Philosophy Network is running a conversation series this fall/winter—focusing on the theme of community. After a brief (10 to 15min) philosophical presentation, the meeting will brake up into open discussion. Come join us in a relaxed, casual, and friendly philosophical atmosphere.

Our fourth session (1 Feb) will be on the topic of loneliness, and we are very pleased to have Avram "Oz" Blaker presenting.

For more information about the series, please visit: http://nycppn.org/conversation-series.html

For more information about our presenter, please visit: http://nycppn.org/who-we-are/avram-gurland-blaker.html

RSVP'ing will help us plan accommodations, but feel free to drop in even if you can't RSVP.

A fascinating conversation today with a great group of people. Encountered someone at the subway station on the way home that got me to think, right after our Meetup. The person had a handmade sign that read, "Homeless...and lonely." Thought it was appropriate this time to give a bit of cash.

Thot I settled up for my draft beer but on second thought, don't think I did. Whoever covered for me - I owe you. Rob

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
