Shoebox Swap

In case you aren't familiar with the term, a "shoebox swap" is where each participant designs and creates a greeting card and then prepares all the necessary supplies to make the card for all the other participants.

The prepared supplies are placed in a container, tote, or a shoebox so they can be transported to a central location. When the group meets, each person sets up a stamping station with their card and box of supplies and then everyone goes around the room and makes one of each of the cards. SO FUN!

PLEASE NOTE: The RSVP deadline is set to close the event 2 days before so that all participants know how many cards parts to create.

I used the address given over three weeks ago and did not notice the change in venue. I went to the wrong house and by the time I realized the change it was to late for me to attend. I want to attend the next one in April. I will make sure and verify the address next time.

Here are better directions to my house. Most GPS devices & maps will give wrong directions unless they were recently updated.
    1) Take I-5 to exit #183 - 164th Street SW
    2) Turn Left on 164th Street SW
    3) Turn Right on Ash Way & follow for a little over 1 mile.
    4) Turn Left on 143rd Street SW & follow for 1/2 block
    5) Turn Left on 11th Place W (if you reach a stop sign, you went too far)
    6) Follow street around & we are straight ahead in the only 3 story house.

*Please read above about parking. If you get lost you may call me @ 408/[masked]

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
