This is a MeetUp group for those suffering with or effected by M.E/CFS. Hi there, this is year 5, and I'm still punching (most of the time), Although I have a lot of great friends I would like to bring together people on MeetUp who are in a similar position to me, just to meet up, have an occasional coffee and social and meet other people who are in a similar situation to me. I plan to organise (roughly) quarterly meets, but I am throwing this open from the start. I would like in the future to have various event organisers doing various MeetUp's. I can not do it all by myself, so tis will be a collaborative group! We could also possibly split MeetUps in the future by severity, local area and age group. There are a lot of us, and there's a whole spectrum to the disease. Mainly I want people to be able to meet other people who relate to how they live with it. So if there is not a MeetUp close enough to you, step up! You can host just once if you like or a number of times. I also would like some people to organise Skype Meets for those who are unable to join in person. I will put up some FAQ's about ow to be an assistant organiser in due course. Overall, this group will be about networking with others with M.E/CFS, freinds, socialising, support and hopefully a bit of fun, Together, we're stronger :)
