We've found that being a stay at home mom is an important job and we're here to support each other with simple fun playdates and outings for you, your children, and sometimes, the whole family. This group is for us moms who are busy with home life, yet know we need to get out with our children and be with other moms and their children. We watch them play together, building friendships, as we connect with the moms in our group.
We meet about once a week, mostly during the day, at playgrounds or in-home play dates. The moms in our group have babies and children of all different ages. Some moms are on their second child, third, and fourth and some are first time moms. Whether your youngest child is a newborn or going into Kindergarten this fall, you may find lots of fun and benefit from joining this group. :-)
We have an every other month book club with discussion. To stay connected, we chat on our private message board. On our message board, we discuss education, and share links to help with schooling. We share recipes from our online cookbook, ask questions and discuss parenting, health issues, home remedies, craft ideas, and offer tips and recommendations. Check out our sister group, www.meetup.com/ArdentScrappers for scrapbooking and craft meetups.
