WHAT IS MAMiLATES? A 1 hour class combining pilates with fun kid activities, stories, and songs.
PILATES focuses on:
Releasing tension from the neck and shoulders. These areas suffer as a result of feeding and carrying your baby.
Toning the back muscles to adapt to the demands of bending down towards your baby and lifting your baby repeatedly.
Regaining diminished abdominal tone. Learn a unique sequence of exercises that are both safe and supportive for the lower back.
Strengthening & revitalizing the pelvic floor.
BABY ACTIVITIES include:
Spanish & French Dress Up! Movement!
The REGENERATION Segments
We use breathing, chanting, or toning to calm and relax MAMi and baby. We also do restorative yoga poses and stretching to alleviate fatigue and refresh the body and mind.
