SkyWatch at MOSI

Join us outside to see the universe up-close and personal through the MOSI telescopes. SkyWatch will feature viewings of the Orion nebula, the moon, Jupiter and Venus.
Viewings begin at sundown. Please note: Clear skies are required to use the telescopes; SkyWatch will not be available if it is raining or cloudy. SkyWatch is a free event; however donations are welcome.

A little hazy but the stars came out. (bad pun intended) Venus was a popular attraction. Folks were generally surprised to see a crescent considering how its brightness.

Another great event that exposed many newcomers to astronomy.

The weather was perfect, a nice group of stargazers, awesome viewing, good conversation.

For my first skywatch I enjoyed it. Was great seeing Venus and the "A" Galaxy. Met a few new people interested in our group and I look forward to future events.

I'm sorry for last minute notice. I'm home sick. Not a fun way to spend a Sat night! Be well.

It's there a cost for the public to attend sky watch?

Does that mean that Saturday night's viewing will be canceled :(

The Skywatch event isn't for the Comet.

ISON is currently visible only in the morning. We have no chance of seeing it Saturday night.

This is a great way to see astronomy and help MOSI too. Plus, this is what we are all suppose to do as members of this club. So, join us and have fun too.
