Hello! This group is for those that want to have a group or another person to run with. Sometimes it is just more fun to run with others. The purpose of this group is to give those who are new to running, those who have been running awhile or those that just need the accountability of a group a place to call home. We will do runs of different lengths and locations. Trail runs are also something I would like us to do. This group is lead by certified fitness trainer Kaylin. I have completed many half marathons and a full marathon and plan to run NYC in fall of 2011. It's not about how fast you run, it is about enjoying the run.

MAXFIT 360 is a new fitness company created by myself that does indoor and outdoor sports style workouts. You can learn more about the company as a whole by visiting the NYC Adult Multi-Sport meetup or the website www.maxfit-360.com. This meetup group will focus on running, but I recommend you checkout the other workouts offered. Those workouts are a great complement to running. They provide strength training and total body work which will improve conditioning, speed, agility and flexibility. In addition the sessions on the meetup are offered at a discounted price for meetup members.

 

Running is great! Get fit, lose weight, build relationships but most importantly become the best you. I believe there is an athlete in all of us, release yours!

 

Fee:
Please pay the fee through paypal. Part of the proceeds go to the creation of MAXFIT 360 youth programs and equipment. It also goes to pay for the site administration, meet-up fees and any equipment we may need on runs/trail runs such as whistles, flags, GPS, stopwatches etc.

Weather Policy:
Running will be cancelled if the weather conditions are severe such as snow, sleet or thunderstorms. If the run is cancelled I will send post on the MAXFIT 360 Facebook page and the Twitter www.twitter.com/MAXFIT 360.com no less then 3 hours before the run. We do run in rain. Runs will not be cancelled due to rain unless it makes the path too dangerous or there is a serve storm. On some situations the run location maybe changed from trail to road due to rain. Please check the Facebook Page or twitter. If you are unsure you can also text me or call me at 917-975-4158. In the event I cancel due to weather the day before I will attempt to email those RSVP, the most reliable information will always be on Twitter or Facebook as I can access it from my phone.
