Good afternoon all,
We hope this finds you well!
We're excited to bring another fabulous, music-filled concert to our Carnegie Hall & Lincoln Center concertgoers! Don't miss the opportunity to hear the Masterworks Festival Chorus, New York City Chamber Orchestra & Soloists and more on Monday, March 25 at 8pm. We will arrange to meet again 45mins before the concert begins in the foyer of the venue.
The Masterworks Festival Chorus wil be performing the magnificent Lord Nelson Mass No. 3 by Haydn under the direction of renowned conductor Laura Lane featuring professional soloists and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
The National Festival Chorus, led by conductor Timothy Peter, will also be performing an exciting program of short, popular pieces including Copland's Zion's Wall, Brahms' Die Mainacht, as well as music from Manhattan Concert Chorale's Composer in Residence, Ola Gjeilo's The Ground.
We are also excited to present this year's International Festival Chorus, featuring Cincinnati Children's Choir with esteemed conductor Robyn Lana, as well as The Danish Girls' Choir from Denmark performing a selection of short works.
Cincinnati Children's Choir will also be performing the New York City Premiere of Bel Canto, composed by Gary Fry and especially commissioned for CCC's 20th anniversary this year. Composed for treble choir and handbells, this piece will be accompanied by the Cincinnati Collaborative Ringers.
Make sure to reserve your spot early for this concert! Once you have booked your tickets, they will be available from the Box Office at Carnegie Hall from 4pm on the day of the performance.
Looking forward to meeting our new members and getting reacquainted with those of you who joined us last summer!
