Manhattan Concert Chorale & Strings Perform Handel, Vaughan Williams, and More

Good morning all,

We hope everyone is having a nice week!

We're thrilled to bring our Carnegie Hall & Lincoln Center concertgoers another fabulous evening of music as well as our first concert of 2013 at Carnegie Hall's newest venue, Zankel Hall! Don't miss the opportunity to hear the professional Manhattan Concert Chorale and strings on Monday evening, May 20th at 7:30pm.

Following a sold out performance at Lincoln Center in December, Manhattan Concert Chorale returns for a performance of hand-picked favorites at Zankel Hall, all with conductor Craig Arnold.

Featuring movements from Handel's baroque masterpiece Dixit Dominus, Vaughan Williams' Antiphon (from Five Mystical Songs) as well as a performance of Ola Gjeilo's Luminous Night of the Soul. Ola Gjeilo is currently Composer in Residence with the professional Manhattan Concert Chorale and will make a guest appearance to add piano accompaniment to this concert.

Full Program includes: Come Live with Me and Be My Love (Dickau), Abendlied (Rheinberger), Sicut Cervus (Palestrina), Gloria from The Masque of Angels (Argento), Dixit Dominus (Handel), Second Eve (Gjeilo), Luminous Night of the Soul (Gjeilo), Antiphon (Williams), Oh, My Luve's Like a Red, Red Rose (Clausen), 'Zekiel (Traditional Spiritual)

Make sure to reserve your spot early for this concert before seats sell out! Once you have booked your tickets, they will be available for collection from the Box Office at Carnegie Hall from 4pm on the day of the performance.

Looking forward to meeting our new members and getting reacquainted with those of you who joined us last summer!

Best,

Christine
