Good afternoon all,
We're excited to bring you another wonderful evening of music with the 4th Annual Collegiate Honors Recital, featuring musicians from Western Michigan University's School of Music, at intimate Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 8:00pm. The Collegiate Honors Recital Series is an outreach program designed to help aspiring young artists who are planning a career in music. Each year, students from a designated college or university compete for an opportunity to appear in recital at Carnegie Hall.
The concert will feature Alexandria Shiner, soprano; Ahmed Anzaldúa, piano; Maria Vallejo, flute; Raymond Bazz, trumpet; Skye Hookham, vibraphone.
**We will be meeting at The Russian Tea Room for pre-concert drinks around 7:00pm. The Russian Tea Room is conveniently located next to Carnegie Hall (150 W. 57th Street).
This is going to be a fabulous evening of socializing and music. We hope many of you will be able to attend! Make sure to reserve your spot early for this concert before seats sell out! Tickets are only $5 each, a fantastic discount. You can purchase your ticket(s) directly on this event page.
Please note: Once you have booked your tickets, they will be available for collection under your name at the Weill Recital Hall Box Office 1 hour prior to the concert at 7pm. Each individual is responsible for picking up his or her own tickets. Everyone from our Meetup group will be seated together.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
