Sunrise Mass & the World Premiere of Dreamweaver at Carnegie Hall

Hi all,

We are beyond excited to be featuring this special concert for our Meetup members! Join us for the World Premiere of renowned composer Ola Gjeilo's Dreamweaver, performed by the professional Manhattan Chorale and New York City Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, May 18 at 8:30pm at Carnegie Hall. Scored for choir, string orchestra and piano, the work is a new setting of a well-known Norwegian medieval ballad, Draumkvedet; an epic text that has more than a few things in common with Dante's infinitely longer Divine Comedy. Draumkvedet has for this piece been adapted into a playful English adaption penned by Gjeilo's regular collaborator, poet Charles Anthony Silvestri.

The performance will also feature Gjeilo's exquisite Sunrise Mass - this lush, cinematic-sounding piece has gained immense popularity around the world and will be performed by the professional Manhattan Chorale, Symphonic Chorus and New York City Chamber Orchestra, all under the baton of esteemed conductor Craig Arnold.

Make sure to reserve your spot early for this exclusive concert before seats sell out! Tickets are only $5 each, an amazing discount. You can purchase your ticket(s) directly on this event page.

Please note: Once you have booked your tickets, they will be available for collection under your full name (the name listed under your PayPal "Buyer Information" in payment, not your Meetup name) at the box office at Carnegie Hall as early as 4pm on the day of the performance. Each individual is responsible for picking up his or her own tickets. Everyone from our Meetup group will be seated together.  Remember, this is an exclusive club, we ask that you do not contact the box office at Carnegie Hall directly with any questions regarding your tickets!

Don't miss this World Premiere at renowned Carnegie Hall. This is sure to be an unforgettable evening!

Best,

Christine

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
