EV Gathering/Coffee Meetup

This is an informal gathering of EV enthusiasts the first Saturday of every month to meet and talk while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. There are six SemaConnect Charging Stations in a nearby parking lot and YOU MUST HAVE A PREPAID SEMACONNECT CARD to use them. Thanks for telling me to drive in low. It made all the difference. I used 10 miles just getting to Sidamo from Columbia in drive. In low, I used just 17 miles going to Laurel and then going back to Columbia. I had 11 miles left over!

It is so nice to see all of the EV cars and those dedicated to driving them at the Meet-ups. Mark, bring a cap for me please and I buy if from you then. Lanny, thanks for setting this up, I'll have to get a prepaid SemaConnect card and look into their network. We should be experiencing spring and better battery charging. --- speaking of weather, it was nice driving past BMW's and Lexus that were stuck on the very slight slopes in yesterday's "dusting". The extra battery weight really helps in the traction.

The weight is a double-edged sword. Once it starts skidding very little will stop its momentum. That said it is impressive how EVs handle with their low-rolling resistance tires.
