Stone's Cove Kitbar Lunch Meetup - Owings Mills, MD

Stone’s Cove offers an entirely new interactive dining experience with the introduction of the KitBar concept. The KitBar combines the design of a kitchen and a bar to create one large communal table that surrounds the restaurant’s kitchen, putting guests right in the middle of the action. Their founder got the idea from parties he has hosted, noticing that partygoers naturally congregated in the kitchen where the food and drinks were being prepared. The KitBar’s slogan “Recess for Adults” embodies that fun, party atmosphere that offers guests a place to enjoy great food and drinks, laugh freely, and recharge their batteries. Here's their online menu.

You can also recharge your EV's batteries using one of Stone's Cove's 4 GE Charging Stations.

Thanks to everyone who came to Stone's Cove on Saturday. Quite an intrepid bunch to brave the snow! Congrats and hats off to Jeffrey, for pushing his Leaf to its limit! Nerves of Lithium Ions! Hope to see you all next time!

It was good to see everyone! That EVAofA Convention medallion is really something!

If anyone needs to charge, there is currently one charging station free, and I can move as I don't really need to charge to get home.

Here, but may need to stay until 14:30. 300W left on the battery, total, when I arrioved, "Turtle" coming up Owings Mills Blvd and when I parked, it went below turtle to dead. She could be put back in drive but I made it and #CO2Fre is now charging with over 17kWh to go.

I'm here but can't find you. Where are you hanging out?

I think a lineup of EV's in the snow would be impressive! EV's are not just for warm weather drivers! We'll have to hold Jeffrey still so no one sees him shivering!

Will brave the snow and sleet. If you see an icicle Volt on the side of the road you'll know what happened...

Same here, let's see how it goes. I may leave a little early.

I have no choice about leaving early but like I said I'll try to arrive early and I may end up taking Rob up on a carpool but I love it when #CO2Fre can-do it even if my fingers and toes resent the sacrifices I make to always get where I'm going! :)

Rain, sleet, snow, wind, cold...we still plan on having this meetup and I still plan on venturing up from So. MD. Barry is close by and confirms he will be there. If you don't feel it's safe to drive, then please don't risk it.

I still plan on making the almost 70 mi from home to Owings Mills, which should take 90 minutes so if I'm wise I'll leave the house at 07:30, but I doubt I will be able to, but no Television makes Jeffrey a grumpy grumpy fellow and his loathing of Best Buy is growing by the minute! But yeah, 07:30 is the planed time of departure if I'm to get there by 09:00 because I need 4 hours to get home.

I live 2 miles away. So I should be there no matter what.

As of now, I'll be there.

I've heard a lot about this place, so I'll come check it out for the first time.

I have been to both Kit Bars and do love the food even as I act mostly sober. I will say though Vladi and I had a nice time making it back to Virginia but it wasn't the most pleasant walk to Wendy's while we did a second charge to get all the way home. I need to remember to 100% the night before as weekends are usually 80% but I know Mark will hook me up as my bud to make sure I can get home! But no fancy EV SUV this time I expect, or even a fancy Diesel Hybrid from VW, which I should sneak off to see tomorrow if not after Writing Group in Saturday.

LOL - I have no idea how long the VWs will be in town. Go there at your own risk. I could not confirm any type of special "private" meetup.

    Jeff,
Five hours is a long time, but think of the great food and most excellent company you can enjoy!

But man, o' man, 5 hours charge to get home; I wish they had CHAdeMO! :)
