The December Meetup is planned for Le Pain Quotidien* in the new Mosaic center in Falls Church, VA near the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station. Mosaic has 7 free charging stations. Come directly to the Market Garage and find us gathered on the ground floor and we can direct you to an open charging station.

*Le Pain Quotidien opened on Friday.

This is an informal gathering of EV enthusiasts the first Saturday of every month to meet and talk while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.

Jeff, who is the manufacturer of these charging stations? Do the exact locations appear yet on any maps?

  IIRC Lanny verified they are all Sema Connect and probably need tapping in but should be free. Both MOM's and the Mosaic District owner told us they always intend for them to be free. My understanding is 3 are right there as you enter the parking garage, 2 are on the side of the MOMs and 2 are behind it. I believe the addresses on Plugshare are accurate.

  Since the stations are scattered, I suggest we meet outside first and get everyone who needs to charge plugged in, then go in as a group. I've never been there and will definitely need to charge, so will need all the help I can get.

  Lanny and I tried to move the PlugShare pins to the exact GPS coordinates. Basically there are four SemaConnect stations on the ground level of the MOM's garage (two at the Strawberry Ln. entrance and two at the corner closest to MOM's entrance, could use Glass Alley entrance, make a right), and three on the ground level of the garage underneath the Target. When we visited the site last month the SemaConnect stations would start charging when plugged in without having to waive a SemaCharge Pass (free).

Nice thing about the Mosaic center vice Maple Lawn is 7 stations, not 6, all free, not $1 per hour. :). But you've been there, you know that. :)
