I've always been interested in technology and gadgets. As a founder and Board Member of the Charles County Technology Council, our team was instrumental in getting the EVSE's in Charles County.

All EV Drivers (EVDs) are very passionate people, and they love their cars. We had a lot of interesting conversations. Plus the baseball game and fireworks added to the fun. When this group gets larger, I believe we will have the attention of GM and other manufacturers to conduct presentations and seminars on current and future technologies, and provide more giveaways to the attendees. At our first event, we gave away several shirts and other items and one lucky attendee got to stay overnight at the Hitlon Garden Inn and charge their car overnight.

I will probably see you Saturday, barring work emergencies. I post on GM-Volt as Ziv and I think you may have published a link to a paper that was used to convince condos that installing chargers was not a big deal. If that was you and you have time, it would be great if you could send me a link to it!

Hi Mark, I got mine (Escape Hybrid) in early 2008 - so its easier for me to part with it and trade it in for a 2012 Volt. Anyway, what's this gathering is about? Would there be any Chevy team members available to answer questions?
