I was selected to be at the side of the runway when the Solar Impulse plane lands at Dulles Airport sometime after midnight tonight. I'm pretty excited and will be taking video and photos as well as tweeting live @Lanny. https://twitter.com/L...­

The Solar Impulse “Across America” bid is billed as the world’s first solar-powered aircraft to fly cross-continental. The journey began in San Francisco and continued with stops in Phoenix, Dallas/Ft. Worth and St. Louis. And soon, it will be on its way to Washington Dulles International Airport!
