I am a recently (diagnosed, treated) breast cancer survivor...who has gotten seriously into buddhism and meditation this last year. Yoga is the next step I think.
I can tell the world but only the world can listen. I certainly will tell the Columbia support group and pass it along to other groups/women I meet (and men too of course).
Meditation and read the spiritual writings.
I love the lectures, hiking when I am able, outdoor sports (why not do a biking /meditation day)? What I love about Buddhism is there are no rules.
Painting, thinking, writing, designing, reading, buddhism readings.
To push stressful thoughts out of my mind, to heal, to recover, to prevent recurrence, to find love, to find great work, to develop my business and succeed, make more great friends, to avoid damaging thoughts and emotions. Let go of cravings and attachments which hold my life and happiness back.

Glad for input and to see your Profile. The group is in transistion right now. Good timing also, given your input may be a factor in steering it.
- - One of the other members, Justin, sent me an email as follows: "...There are a number of philosophical/ intellectual discussion groups out there on Meetup, though, so one thing to consider is what would make this particular group unique."
Hi and welcome Roberta!
Hi Roberta! Welcome to the group :) Yes, that is really why I started this meetup group. I think all of us breast cancer survivors are fearless females and that is exactly how we should live our lives although it can be difficult at times. I look forward to meeting/talking to you :)
