Recently opened - the bridge high above Rosendale and additional trail north of there.  Let's explore!!

We'll go to New Paltz and ride the northern section of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, which has some views of Shawangunk cliffs, crosses the Wallkill River, and crosses a bridge high above Rosendale.

The trail is not paved, the surface being packed cinders. Round trip distance is about 16 miles.  If this distance seems too much for you, you can turn around at any point to shorten the ride.

Suggested donation: $2 to help offset the cost of the subscription that meetup charges to organizers.

Ignore the map above and its GPS coordinates - they are not correct.

Directions to trail head:
If this parking lot is closed or full of construction equipment, we'll go to this alternative lot on Broadhead Ave:

Cancellation info: If the weather is doubtful, I'll email the "Yes" folks the evening before the hike.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
