I want to thank everyone who made it to VegFest 2013. The official VegFest attendance is not yet released but I am expecting a number around 5000. I'm a dietitian and I've been to lots of these type events. I liked the variety of vendors and was able to talk to many. Worthwhile.

I am a member to VegMichigan but can't find my membership cards, is that a problem?

No, just have your Id with you, go to the membership desk, do not stand in the long ticket line.

I'm up for creating a smaller group to hang out with. I'm most interested in the cooking demos and the food court. If your interested send me a line. Also I live in Farmington hills near 14m so we could carpool from there or the mall (as opposed to trying to find each other at the show).

    Are we meeting anywhere?

In my experience it will be hard for a large group of people to stay together in this event. There will be multiple events happening in parallel and not everyone in the group will be interested in all the events. I will add links to talk / cooking demo schedules at the end of the note. VegFest is organized by VegMichigan a nonprofit origination and I am a volunteer. I serve in the organizing committee of VegFest and I will be at the prepaid desk at the event. If you want to meet other MAC or AAAC member just stop by at the prepaid desk, I will let you know if other members who have checked in already. You can look for them if you wish to join them.
Buy tickets online, it is cheaper by few $ and you don’t have to stand in long line. The discounted online ticket sale ends midnight Friday.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
