Pre-meeting for the July 19th backpacking trip

  • July 15, 2013 · 6:30 PM

This is a pre-meeting for the July 19th Jordan River Pathway backpacking trip (sorry for the late notice). Please try to attend if you're coming up north with us, or if you might but have a few question. There are a few spots left.

We'll meet at Sticks in Depot Town, it's the upstairs part of Aubree's. Call[masked]four-5187 if you need directions or anything.

We'll discuss what to bring, what equipment you can share, borrow or loan, carpooling, who can head up early and where to meet, which direction to do Deadman's Hill, the importance of sticking together in case someone needs help, etc...

This meeting is a long drive for some. I'll summarize later for those who couldn't attend.

The map looks like the location is the middle of the bridge over the Huron River. Is the location east or west of the river, north or south side of Cross St? Parking?

Sticks is on the north side of Cross St, east of the river between River St and Rice St.
Parking is behind the building, and there's more parking on Rice St. Look for Aubree's and go upstairs.
