Come experience Fall by hiking approximately 4-5 miles through woodlands, wetlands, and strolling boardwalks. Bring your cameras and binoculars for some beautiful wildlife and a bald eagle that roosts there every year. Easy walk on a gorgeous autumn day. Friendly fellow adventurers and Bobby the wonder dog did a little canine socializing. Good day overall.

My husband and I love that place. I will say it was a great day. However, it was different without our dog.

Thanks for having me today. It's the first time since my PAO 6 months ago that I have been able to hike that far at one time. Great accomplishment!

Do you know if Crosswinds is dog-friendly?

    October 2, 2013

    • Charity M.

Dogs are permitted. However, on our hike, you must have your dog on a leash and make sure that it is not under foot of other hikers. I look forward to meeting with you.

I plan on bringing Bobby the wonder dog on the hike too. Yes, he'll be leashed and will be on his best behaviour, as always.

I am looking forward to this Saturday. I haven't been to Crosswinds Marsh in ages. I joined this group to meet new people and experience more of the outdoors. This will be my first activity with the group.
