And yes, I am running the Skin on Frame kayak building classes again, starting in January.

It was my first time at the Tech Center. Pizza, soda and bottled water were served. There were several movie clips varying in length but all dealing with kayaking. Some were about trips and others about wave surfing. The most notable ones were about Sarah's around the world trip, a trip around Tierra Del Fuego and a trip around an island near Italy. The movies ended after 9:30 PM and there was a mini tour of the facility. The scenery was amazing.

Thanks to everybody who came out! We had about 35 people- MAC, SOLAR, the SouthEast Michigan Kayak Builders, Great Lakes Kayakers, and more were there.

If there is interest, I can show more kayak (or adventure/whatever) movies there. Let me know

Wish we could have shared kayaking destinations. But, otherwise, great.

It's a great place to paddle for those with the judgement, skills & equipment to paddler there safely. It can be a mean bit of water.
