Annual Boyne 4-Day Weekend at Ski-Out Ultimate Party Mansion

  • Jan 24, 2013 · 5:00 PM
  • Party Mansion

Update[masked]  The master bedroom and a full bed are still available, and I'm willing to knock 40 and 30 off the price because I really do need to sell them soon.

I forgot to write that everyone will receive $20 to $25 back after the trip from the returned damage deposit, as long as it is returned to me (nothing damaged).  To officially reserve your spot, be sure to either write me a check, pay me in cash, or pay me online though paypal or amazonpayments at jimstange at  Once you pay, I will move your name to the RSVP list and will occasionally update the site to show what beds are left.

This is almost posted on the AAAC site.  This is updated as of[masked], but since most people are RSVPing though the other site, that one will be most up to date as to what rooms are available.

If you were there last year you remember that I was terribly sick with food poising or the flu or both, but still managed to ski and tube a bit at my event, but then did it all again just a few weeks later when Andrew planned another one and had the absolute time of my life. I fully believe this will be one of the great meetups of the year, and I’m confident it will fill up months before we leave (details to come).

I intend to leave very early from work on Thursday, around 1 or 2PM to ensure maximum party time and open up the house for other early party people.  I'm hoping to carpool with a few people (email me if you can leave that early).

I’m not even going to go into detail about how great the house is, how close it is to the mountain (you can ski from the lodge to the lift), or how much fun a cool group of people could have in a huge house with so much to offer. The general idea will be to ski half off with the Shell passes on Friday and Sunday, and tube and/or XC ski and/or party and relax on Saturday when skiing is full price.

This time, to alleviate all confusion about sleeping arrangements, you will buy a specific type of sleeping situation. Prices are for the full 4 days (3 nights). Once you buy a spot you are free to sell it to someone else or even split it in two if need be.  I took the bedroom arrangements and capacity straight from the listing, so it must be accurate.  The floor spots are to ensure that beds aren't wasted because, inevitably, one or two people always fail to show.  As with all of these trips, there are no refunds, but feel free to sell your spot to one of the many people who will eventually be on the very long waiting list.  I've already put up half the money for this on my own, please don't leave me in the cold for long.

FULL (Robin, Terri) 2 people--Master bedroom King w/ TV & bathroom; $340 total ($170 each per person, but you obviously must pay for beds for two people at once, can't be split up)

2 people--2nd Master King w/ TV & bathroom; $320

2 people--Queen bedroom with TV; $290

4 people--2 Full beds w/ TV; $260 (per bed, two couples in the room)

5 people--Lower bedroom, Men, sleeps 5, full and bunks for singles; $125 (Scott J)

(room for just 1 more single lady) people--Down stairs room attached to bathroom, Women, sleeps 5, full and bunks for singles; $125 (Kim G, Erin M, Colleen D, Julia)

FULL (Pete, Marisa) 2 people--Floor spots (likely take spots of no-shows, happens every year); $110

To officially reserve your spot, be sure to either write me a check, pay me in cash, or pay me online though paypal or amazonpayments at jimstange at

Hey folks! I work at Boyne Mtn. at the ticket window and ski school desk on the weekends so I hope to see everyone Saturday evening. Definitely get the Shell coupons - such a great deal. If you're new to skiing/riding and/or planning to take a lesson, note that you must tell them you want the "Discover Michigan" deal or the "Learn to ski month" deal specifically to get the discounted package price. If not, we'll just charge you the regular price. These two deals are for novices only with lessons at 12:30. If you know how to stop, you're a level 2 and beyond that deal. Regular lesson times are 10am & 2:30pm. Go to ski school desk to sign up or call ahead, check in at desk at least 30 min early, 1 hr early if getting the package w/rentals. Remember, friends don't let friends teach friends to ski!

With all of the waitlisted people, if I was to hook up another cabin, would you guys be interested? I have some loose connections up there and I may be able to get something set up. Nu guarantees, but I would try if there's enough interest.

For first time skier and snowboarders this is an awesome deal!!

Twenty-three ski facilities are offering the package, which will be honored from January 2 through January 31, 2013.
