okay guys, here we go again.
remember the recent flurry of mipc online activity re the guy who hit the car as he was landing?
a lot of the conversation focused on runway overrun/threshold…
well, i just got this from the 99s newsletter.
here’s the definition of ‘bad neighbor’ on steroids.
I'm reaching out to you for something very important. One of my best friends sent me an email about a fence that was illegally put up at her airport, and she is fighting to get it removed. This is something that is dear to my heart, as the woman flies 747's and she and her husband now have a Cessna 120. There is nothing more that I want than her safety, and all general aviation pilots' safety, when they are flying their small aircraft.
Please take a moment to read the story and sign the petition. You could save a life. One day it might be yours.
Thank you! XO Karlene
read the article “Airport Safety!” (Nov 28) on that link
check out the piece that the local tv guys did
and maybe sign the petition?
the ‘blogger’, karlene pettit, flew the[masked] for northwest, is now flying the A300 for someone else, wrote a book, ‘Flight for Safety’ that’s apparently a pretty scary look at the airline industry today. like i needed to be more scared of commercial flying than i already am.
