Conflict of Visions III

We are going to conclude our discussion of the book A Conflict of Visions: Ideological Origins of Political Struggles by Thomas Sowell. According to Sowell, the visions he is talking about have to do with how we "feel before we have constructed any systematic reasoning." We are probably not even be aware of them. As we finish the book we will, presumably, uncover these unacknowledged assumptions that each of us has. Not everyone is going to be able to handle this.

In spite of a lively, respectful conversation, I think everyone left with the same views they came with.
