The MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization part of a network of 27 chapters worldwide. Our mission is to be the New York City-based leader in hosting networking and educational events focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.
We host monthly events that attract between 30 and 200+ people. We count a membership of 200 people and a subscription list of 10,000 people, and have been an active chapter since 1971. We also occasionally host events with partner organizations. Our constituency is made up of local entrepreneurs, business leaders, technologists, venture capitalists, angel investors, other financiers and service providers. A fraction of our participants are alumni of MIT although our organization and events are open to all.
Our events mainly focus on the following verticals:
Media & Information Technology
Clean and Renewable Technology
Biotechnology and Healthcare Information
Venture Capital Roundtables & Business Plan
