We've got another treat for you this month! ZeroLocus, a big data analytics company founded in Milwaukee by MIT grads Art Mellor and Tony Falcone. Their goal: to develop tools needed to bring order from chaos in business big data analysis.
Art Mellor will be presenting the work ZeroLocus is doing using data. Originally from Boston, Art is committed to Milwaukee as the launchpad for ZeroLocus. We're excited to see another local startup using data to drive opportunity and innovation!
These monthly meetups are a chance to stay connected with others that are using data. This is an idea share, but its also a way to learn about new data happenings in Milwaukee and to connect with new people. are primarily a social gathering to keep people connected.
Are you publishing open data? Building a business or idea from data found on the Internet? Using data to solve social problems? Have a cool idea for how to use data? Come share your project or idea with fellow data scientists and entrepreneurs!
The format is fairly casual. Since we don't have food sponsors (yet) this is a BYO event for food, but we try to supply water and beer in case people are just thirsty!
