Anyone interested in getting together to enjoy painting either the green fields and beauty of the country side or even somewhere in a nice town. It would be nice to share the experience without rules, and freedom to express yourself in a comfortable supportive art group.
We seem to have quite a few people interested now. The weather is looking a little bleak at the moment so hopefully when I can get a better forward view of the weather, I will book something in with a weeks notice.
Update: 13th June 2013
Apologies for the delay in organising this. Feel free to make suggestions and don't worry if you can't make the first outing, as we have the whole summer to enjoy.
Where to meet:
If we all meet in the carpark for for 10:30 it will be easier to see who is who especially if we are all carrying arty stuff. I will wait at the car park for 20 minutes to gather everyone. Then we can walk down the alley way and choose some spots either together or independently.
I chose the location - based upon the variety of background scenery - green fields, canal, bridges, period houses, cows and if we are lucky the sheep will be out. There should be enough parking available on ousebank way and it is free.
What to bring:
Feel free to bring any drawing medium. All standards welcome, beginners and experts, and hopefully it will just be a nice relaxing day out without any pressure. I'd advise bring a small carry chair, and a small picnic of food if you want to draw for hours.
Stay for as long as you want to. Everyone will have their own pace and I may stay until early evening.
If it rains?
Stony Stratford is a lovely town so if the weather ends up being awful and the day seems to have gone badly then there are plenty of pubs or a few cafes to sit in.
Suggestions or questions please fire away.
