Movie Night

6.30pm in the Wetherspoons pub, The Moon Under Water, on the ground floor of X-scape. Have a beer or a coffee or, if you want to grab something between work and the cinema, why not have a bite? They have a varied menu, including traditional, vegetarian and vegan dishes.

We'll hang out in The Moon Under Water, decide which film we're going to see and then go up to queue for our tickets. Its Orange Wednesday and its usually busy, so queuing could take 20-30 mins. Please bear in mind that if you come to the pub too late, you may miss us.

Orange users please bring your phones so we can get as many people as possible in for half price under the 'Orange Wednesday' offer. If there are some Cineworld Unlimited customers, we'll probably get some free tickets too.

Obviously a spoof! Why would anyone willingly call themselves Lady Goat!? James is that you??

      did anyone ask for forgiveness??

We will stick to the tried and tested venue, 'Lady Goat'. Unless, of course, there is a consensus from members that they would prefer to meet elsewhere.

I think it's fair to say the The Moon Under Water wouldn't be my first choice either, but it's very convenient for Cineworld and has been a successful meeting place for our Movie Nights for 4 years.

Hi Susan ! By the time Karen and I sauntered up to the ticket desk they said the 2D cinema at 7:20 was full sold out ... so we went 3D instead (lesson learnt there!)
It was good to meet you all, not as nerve wracking as I thought it was going to be :-) See you soon, Chris

Star Trek for me - 3D version preferabley! (I have 4 pairs of glasses)

    May 15, 2013

    • Lindsay

      I'm afraid it'll be 2D for me - 3D makes me sea-sick! 2D is at 7:20, 3D at 8pm, so both at good times.

Another newbie! Is there a particular corner of wetherspoons you meet in? Happy to see any film really :)

    May 14, 2013

    • Lindsay

If you come in the main entrance off the street, we usually find seats in the area to the right of the bar.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
