Milton Keynes' friendliest comedy club aims to bring a variety of comedians from the comedy circuit to the city. Traditional stand-up comedians, musical acts, observational, dark, daft and so on can all be seen at The Comedy Cow. Please check the line-up before booking your tickets so you know what you are booking to see!Doors open:  7.30pm     Last Entry:  8pm     Acts Begin:  8.15pm

After the show, the main room will then be turned back into the nightclub which you will be able to stay and enjoy.

HEADLINER: SIMON MUNNERY

Star of BBC2's Attention Scum, London Shouting, Radio 1's The League Against Tedium and Radio 4's Where Did It All Go Wrong? As seen on BBC2’s Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle.

Simon Munnery, also known by his stagenames of Alan Parker: Urban Warrior and The League Against Tedium, is an English comedy writer and experimental standup comedian. His standup is perhaps best described as often satirical, often political and almost always surreal. Munnery plays harmonica and his dialogue is full of quotable remarks, inviting comparison with Oscar Wilde.
British Comedy Award Nominee, Sony Radio Award Winner, Perrier Award Nominee.

OPENER: HARRIET KEMSLEY

Harriet started stand up in 2011 & within 6 months she'd won nationwide female comedy competition Funny's Funny.
This year has seen her become Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year, Brighton Comedy Festival New Act of the Year as well as being named by Rhod Gilbert as one of the Ten Must See Comics of 2012 in The Mail on Sunday.

COMPERE: JARLATH REGAN

A finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, Jarlath’s first published book How To Break Bad News was an instant best-seller. Jarlath’s second book Putting A Ring On It - What Not To Do When Attempting To Get Married became a cult hit in his homeland.

An accomplished television and radio presenter, Jarlath co-hosted and devised comedy segments for a season of children’s television on Ireland’s national broadcaster RTE. More recently Jarlath can be heard on Radio 4’s Life: An Idiots Guide. Jarlath’s other credits include the Comedy Central’s The World Stands Up, Last Comic Standing on NBC, Live at The Stand Comedy Club (BBC Radio Scotland), The Blame Game (BBC Radio Ulster) and The Apprentice You’re Fired (TV3).

PLUS 2 new/ up-and-coming acts!

Chris Chopping

Chris was raised in Bedfordshire before moving to Cardiff where he worked behind the bar in one of the countries top comedy clubs. After deciding he might prefer to be on stage he went on to win You Must be Joking Newbury Act of The Year 2011 and Bedford New Act of The Year 2012, reaching the final of Last Minute Comedy New Comedian of the year 2012. Since then he's honed his act on stages across the UK.

Phil Alexander

Phil is a musical sort of bod, who has been playing silly songs at music open mics and the comedy end of a poetry collective called Rhythmical Ravings and Rants (rrrants.com) for many years, but only recently started making the transition to the comedy circuit. He is ridiculously prolific, having written well over a thousand parodies and original songs, and has performed more than 250 of these in the last few years - these songs vary from the political through the heretical to the witty, smutty and just outright rude.

Thanks for organising it, Angie...a great night out & good to meet everyone.

Not sure when I'll get to go to the next one at CMK (as it clashes with another thing) but if you do any more at different venues (ie: diff. nights) please keep us posted!

    Cheers.
