We are a group dedicated to interesting fermented beverages (mostly beer, cider and mead), both homebrewed and those made by craft brewers.

You don't have to be a homebrewer to attend. This group is full of good resources to learn and get started.

Most meetings include at least some form of tasting. That's typically 80-90% homebrew that members bring to the meeting. We discuss how that beer was made, how it turned out, what could be done to make it better, etc. This is definitely a group to geek out on the details of beer.

This is NOT a group to join if you are looking to chug or play beer pong or otherwise just get drunk. But, if you'd like to learn why a hefeweizen tastes like banana and cloves or the difference between saccharomyces cerevisiae and brettanomyces yeast, this is the group for you.
