Urban Veggie Gardening: Beginner


Get some great tips on how to grow a high yielding vegetable garden using sustainable methods and permaculture principles that make growing your own food easier for you and better for the environment. Taught by Krista Leraas and Dina Kountoupes, vegetable growers and permaculture experts who promote urban farming and gardening with their business, Harvest Moon Backyard Farmers.

All classes held Monday evenings at 7pm, with the exception of the first class, which will be Tuesday, January 29th.

All classes will take place ACROSS the street from Mother Earth Gardens, at the Riverview Wine Bar [masked]nd Ave S.) Classes begin at 7pm sharpish. Please relax with a beverage from the adjacent coffee shop; limited beer and wine will be available. Though the classes are free, we ask that you preregister, as we have limited space.
