This workshop will introduce participants to the history, core ethics and principles of permaculture. Through interactive activities during the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to see how these principles might be applied in their own setting. Finally, participants will receive handouts and recommended reading resources to continue to deepen their understanding of Permaculture principles and to engage in projects within their community.
Through this course participants will:
1. Come away with a basic grasp of the ethics and principles of permaculture
2. See possible personal applications of Permaculture
3. Receive resources to engage and develop Permaculture in their own communities
This learning session will be a mix of presentation and visual media, participatory discussions, small group work, and practical planning that you can take home and use.
