Using this traditional method of "weaving", twining and plaiting can be used to create beautiful baskets, straps, and more. This class offers the participant to use their hands to create a Woodland Bag, traditional bag of the Ojibway (Anishinabe) People. We will then learn different techniques to adding straps and tumplines to these and any other carrying vessels. Let your hands feel, let your hands remember...

I enjoyed this day, except it was a little too much sitting for me. More walking/hiking, at least a little bit, would've been good for me.
