I am sorry to announce that this class was cancelled by Minneapolis Community Ed because they did not have enough people registered with them. If you still wish to learn to make paper, I will be offering paper making again on May 1st. An event will be created closer to the date.

I also offer two types of individual/ small group sessions. I currently have standard wood pulp in various colors, bleached banana (abaca), bamboo, cotton linter, and blue jeans fibers available to create paper with, along with a large assortment of flower petals, glitter, herbs, rainbow sprinkles, spray dyes and more as embellishments. 1) Paper Making
2 hours. There is a $60 minimum for up to 3 people, or $15 per person for 4-9 people. I include all supplies and an instruction book I wrote. 2) Deckle/ Mold Making and Paper Making.
3 hours. For an additional $20 per person, this class includes off of the above, as well as everything needed to make your own deckle/ mold to keep.

I wanted to all to know about available discounts:

    What discounts are available?
You must call the site hosting the class to register in order to receive all discounts other than the senior discount. If you are 62 or older, receive Social Security Assistance, Unemployment Compensation or MFIP, you pay half fee for most classes. For some classes, youth 17 or under may receive a discount of 50% when they register with an adult. Supply fees are not discounted. Metropolitan Health Plan and UCare memebers may deduct $15 per class.

Southwest Community Ed just told me that are not allowed to have any classes on Feb 4th because of the caucus meetings, so this class does not start until Feb 11th as posted here. I am emailing all who signed up to be sure you get the message. Sorry for any trouble you may have with the date. I look forward to seeing you there!
