The summer is starting to fly by! I know it's a holiday weekend, but for those who have Monday off and are in town, I thought it would be fun to get together for a group walk and maybe some off-leash playtime. We'll meet at Flag Plaza (there are lots of red, white, and blue flowers and a big flag pole, benches, etc to help you find it), then go for a group walk down Victory Memorial Parkway. If the weather is nice and the dogs do well together, we'll walk over to the local park, which has two fenced in hockey rinks (grass, not concrete) that we can use as an off-leash play area. If we have a few dogs who don't quite get along, we'll use one hockey rink for off-leash and the other for playing fetch individually or on-leash socialization. If you plan to participate in off-leash play, there is a limit of one dog per adult. For the group walk, you may have up to two dogs per adult. I'll supply bottled water for the dogs. Please bring water for yourself and pick up bags to clean up after your pup.
