C'mon fellow writers! Summer gets really busy but the brain still needs creative stimulation. Let's get a good discussion going for the July meetup. The topic is Theme--a broad subject, but one that helps focus the direction and symbolism of your story. Pinning down your theme even helps to provide the best book title and the underlying truths of the world you create.

We have two files so far for critiquing. Janice has chapter 8 of her novel (you'll have to scroll down a bit, the file was posted June 2, 2009). Zach also has chapter 10 of his novel posted. Submissions for this month closed July 7 at 11:59pm.

You can printout the submissions for the meeting and make all your comments on the copy to give to the writer. This is so helpful when the writer does revisions.

If you RSVP "yes" to attend the meeting but are unable to come, you can email your cancellation up until 4:00 of the day of the meeting. We appreciate knowing how many will be coming.
