With apologies, I am not sure if I am going to be able to make it on Sunday due to unexpected overtime opportunities at where I work. I might be able to but as things stand right now I will not be there.

Andre, I like the way you think. In fact, I don't feel charging a fee for the experience would be out of line. After all, you get what you pay for.

Is this a pretext to get the meetup group to help you trim and bind several copies of your book?

Who attended?

  • 11 attendees
    •  Terry's presentation on how to bind your own books was informative, and most of us managed to unglue our hair eventually. Seriously, this was one of my favorite meetup topics of all time.
    •  It was interesting to see how a book could be put together, though it's probably not something I'd attempt to do, I'm far too lazy. And, even though Terry told us about the difficulty of the learning process, he made it look easy-- always a warning sign.
    •  Ooops. I thought the last survey was this one. See my comments on the critique group.
    •  Easily one of the most entertaining Meetups! It was great fun watching Terry actually assemble a book!
    •  Okay. I don't actually intend to assemble my own books... but I didn't know that until I attended this meeting! :-) Terry's a great presenter and I'd like to see more how-to sessions like this, if we can think of some that are at least peripherally related to writing.
