November Meetup - Closing The Story

We've talked about creating an exciting opening for your story, now it's time to talk about how we wrap it up. Straight action until the end? Rising tension, climax, and denouement? From a 100 word drabble to a 15 book fantasy epic, let's talk about how to reach those magical words: The End.

Join us in the community room at the Uptown Lunds for reading, eating, and greeting with your fellow speculative fiction writers. New or inactive members, this is a great opportunity to connect or reconnect. If you've had a sale or publication, bring your happy news - - if you've had a crushing rejection, let us commiserate.

If you haven't attended a Meetup at this location before, here's the scoop: Lunds in Uptown has a community room upstairs that is quiet, free and has great bus access. Even better yet, it has a fabulous deli but is not a restaurant. So we can brown bag our own lunches or buy a lunch there. The deli selection includes salads, sandwiches, soups and sushi. If you are going to be getting your food from Lunds, please arrive fifteen minutes early to pick out your food before the meeting.
